She was snapping pictures in downtown Minneapolis. Very approachable, she agreed to take the survey more quickly than everyone I asked.



Where do you live?
"I'm from Milwaukee, going to school here though."

What do you do?
"I work on campus."

If you could have any super power, what would it be?
"Oh, good question! Traveling to the past would be cool."

In three adjectives, how would you describe yourself?
"That's a good one. I'd say I'm funny and hard-working, and I'm encouraging."

What's your favorite city or town?
"Oh, that's a difficult one... I really like it here, so I'll say Minneapolis!"

If you won the Powerball, what would be the first thing you'd do?
"Well, I don't play. But if I did, I guess... I'd buy a Chevy Silverado!"

In three words, how would you describe the United States?
[pause] "You ask good questions! Hm. Foolish. Very proud, lots of pride. When things get tough, they really show that they care for their neighbor."

Do you own a gun? If not, would you?
"No. I wish nobody else did."

Who is your favorite movie star?
"It used to be Bruce Willis. Now, I'd say Jason Stathom."

What's the strangest thing you own?
"Some people think it's strange that I sill have my stuffed dog."

What's your favorite restaurant in Minneapolis?
"Olive Garden. Or Applebee's. They have good appetizers."

Can you dance?
"No! [laughing] I'm a white girl; of course I can't dance!"

I thanked her for the interview and asked if I could take her picture. She enthusiastically agreed, asking if she could take my picture. Of course, I agreed immediately.
